Xenosaga Episode III is the series’ conclusion, and therefore the conclusion of a musical legacy reaching from Mitsuda’s Xenogears and Xenosaga scores, to the most recent two, which only had partial soundtrack releases, both by Yuki Kajiura. Three things, then, are brought up: how does this Xenosaga’s music compare to the last one, how is it on its own, and does it work as a suitable conclusion to a rich, diverse heritage?
Kajiura’s style used here is much like that in the previous game, with focuses on emotion in some tracks, and sound in others. However, the tone here is darker than in II, and many of the tracks have a focus on rhythm as well, giving this album a different sound on the whole. Kajiura’s strengths shine through here: many of the melodies are quite stirring and emotional, and there’s some fantastic mixing work done between seemingly disparate elements, such as in the fantastic “godsibb” or “she’s coming back.” She’s also very good at creating a kind of atmosphere with a female voice, and although there isn’t as much of that type of work here as in II, the few examples shine quite well… (read more)
I was surprised that actually these links are still up. I uploaded these manga like a year ago for pspcrazy.com forum :) so you guys enjoy then ! Death Note is one of my favorite Manga. The story is about Shinigami (God of Death) who owned a notebook called Death Notes which are used as a killing devices. The human whose name is written in this note book shall die. Whomever names written down in this note, will die by heart attack within 40 seconds if the person didn’t write a detail ways on how the victim dies. The story started when Shinigami, named Ryuku, accidentally dropped his Death Note in the human world which after that was found by straight-A student, Raito. With the death note on his hand, He started discovers that he now has the power to discreetly kill people, and with this new power he plans to change the world in his ideal place by killing off criminals. Eventually the governments of the countries around the world notice the unusual amounts of deaths of their criminals and figure out someone is behind them, but they have no way of discovering it themselves. That was when they hired a person with code named “L“, a master detective, to find out who is behind the murders. The story getting more complicated when Raito joined into investigation team to find the culprit. Chinese tradition said that on new year’s day we must buy something new hehehe well.. I’m not so sure about this rumor, or maybe this is just my excuse to post my things here hahaha *embarrass* Yesterday I went to Topman at Bugis Junction and found a quite catchy wallet and the price also not that expensive + plus discount from my Topman Member Card (finally I used it :) ) Today I went to Vivo City and bought a shirt in Samuel & Kevin and a sweater from I.P. Zone.
Happy New Year every one !! Another year has passed and now it’s time for us to reflect back on what we have done last year. Remember and learn from all those moments, no matter how good or bad it was :) 2007 was a big step for me where I started my study in Singapore, met a lot of new friend at school and working place, though there was a moment I felt sad and happy but I knew that there’s great meaning behind all of it.
But well… no time to regret on what we have done last year, folks ! New year has come and new pages of our life are wide open out there !
